By taking most of the walls down, the horizontal axes of southern light were able to penetrate deeply into the space, illuminating the planes of plastic and plaster. Series of openings and a porthole through the kitchen and bathroom walls created framed voyeuristic experiences. A continuous expense of unobstructed wall was cleared to accommodate the display of my art collection. Fabric, color and translucent plastic walls provided division and airiness. |
